Which would give you 5-lugs.

BTW welcome to the board from South Mississippi!

Welcome, There are suppliers listed on the home page that sell 6 lug disc conversions. I dont know of any easy ways to do it with other GM parts. The kits come with a choice of dropped spindles or standard height. John

welcome from the pacNW. where you from? you can get a complete 71+ crossmember from the junk yard and swap everything over. you will need the master cylinder and prop valve off of the donor truck. and on disc trucks the brake line is in a different spot than drum trucks, but the board vendors sell a hose that works (i think, maybe some one can help me on that one) keep in mind that you should replace tie-rod ends and ball joints while you are into it. some of the board vendors have 6 lug rotors for this swap that way you can keep those new crome wheels too

I just noticed you have a 70 GMC also! First thing I think you should do is put a power booster on your truck if it doesn't already have one. For the money it's a quick way to improve your braking.

I Have Added The Power Booster It Did Help. I Was Able To Locate A 73 Chevy
This Passed Weekend At The Junk Yard. It Had Everything I Need Except For The Six Lug Rotors. Do You Think That I Can Drop The Entire Front End And Bolt It Up? Of Coarse I'll Put In New Joints. Do You Have A Three Speed, If So Can You Tell Me How To Hook Up The Reverse Lights? Mine Has A Switch Is On The Transmission Side Plate But I Don't Know Where The Single Lead Wire Coming From It Goes.

Thanks For Your Help
Srprise

(on my 68 with 250 I6 and 4 speed) one of them is from the wire harness on the fire wall that comes downon the passenger side and the other one goes to the harness that rides the frame to the tail lights.

Would this swap affect the motor placement and motor mounts any?
