Emergency brake help

I recently replaced the transmission in my '75 LWB truck. I had to disconnect the e-brake cable from the tensioners located near the tailshaft to get the trans out. In the process of replacing everything, the long piece on the right side fell out of the frame or wherever it goes and I can't figure out where it goes. It's about 12 inches or so long, has an s-bend in one end where it goes into the frame and a 180 degree bend in the other where it retains the e-brake cable.

If anyone has any insight into this I would appreciate it..Thanks!

Look for a hole that has rub marks where the rod was hooked up.
