Always great to meet other board members!
On my most recent road trip I got to meet several of 'em.
Burnsman, in PA
Litdave, in TN
LUV2XCLR8 in TN
Smonty, in TX
Different states, different ages, different projects, SAME EXACT INFATUATION WITH THESE TRUCKS. go figure...
Thanks guys, good to know ya!

Adding to the List

Had a chance to meet another board member down in Mass. (2hrs south of me) Close by the big map standards.
He goes by biglou55 here on the board. I've delt with him twice now, I thought the first encounter was well worth the trip but on the 2nd trip (picking up a 71 wrecker) Lou out did himself, he offered to trailer a 2nd parts truck north for me so I wouldn't need to make two trips.
THANKS LOU!!
Just when you think you've seen it all...someone does even more!

More Great Meetings

Met another member over the weekend in Florida, jnelson is his board name.
We were doing a 'loop' from western Florida to eastern Florida when we began having problems overheating pulling the trailer, we were on our way to Jim's place and I called him and asked if there were any all night auto stores locally being we thought we had to replace the one in the truck.
Not only did Jim call and see if they had one in stock for our needs but he went out and picked it up for us, so it was there when we arrived at his place! This was at 9:00 p.m. too, NICE GUY, thanks Jim.
On top of all that, he was willing to wait up for us. We didn't get there untill 11:00p.m., he was very cool about it and then helped us load. We didn't get back on the road untill 2:00a.m. Good deal, Great guy...thanks again Jim. it's been a pleasure.
