Removing Steering Column!!!!!!
OK.....so how do I remove the steering column, loosen a few bolts, twist and turn and it's out of there??? help me out guys!!!!

there is some bolts that connect it to the steering box,bolts that hold it to the dash and bolts that hold it to the firewall,take all these out,unplug the neutral safty switch,and youll have to wiggle it out,it wont come straight out,helps if you have 2 people and an impact....

i just did mine. there is a bracket with 2 bolts under the dash holding the column in place. there is another bracket that bolts to the floor of the truck where the column goes through. there is a small bracket that compresses on the firewall side. the last one is 2 bolts that hold it to the steering box. my truck is a standard, so i didn't have to worry about the shifter linkage. a socket and a wrench is all u need, and maybe a little wd-40.
