Question CST or not??

Was A/C a CST option only or could you get a/c regardless??

Will the option sheet on the glovebox show if the rig was a CST model??

My 72 has regular sidemarkers, but no emblems. It's been repainted, so I figure the sidemarkers were replaced, and the emblems left off (????)

You could get A/C on any trim package. It's about the only real fancy option on my '71.

Also, not all CST trucks had AC. My first '72 K5 was a CST without air. My current '72 K5 is a non CST with air.

the only requirement for air was that you opted for the hard top. If you got the hard top and went with the A/C, you got the "HD radiator and a 42 amp generator"

Also, agreed, the options sticker does reflect the CST package, if it does not, then it isn't or someone switched glove boxes from a non CST.
