Has youre wife ever........

Has your wife ever looked at you and said "You really need to finish your new engine, so here is the credit card, get what you need". Well mine just did. My suspicions have now been confirmed, I am the luckiest man alive.

The best part is that I am in College, and she has already graduated with her masters, and is the only bread winner. Since my only contribution is student loan money, she is basically paying for my engine herself, and realizes it too.

Lucky Lucky Guy!!!

I'm with Zkast on this one! "what did you buy" sounds familiar!! (She'd be asking me this one though, when I come back from the auto wreckers, or a parts shop) LOL!

I have to slip in the odd part here and there to get anything done! I re-painted the door panels and glove box, and all I hear from her was "what a waste of money, it's a piece of $hit truck anyway". No complaints though when it comes time to move something! hahaha.

I survive though.

I hate you you lucky SOB, can she cook like my (cajun) wife?
Then again, a good cook may be a bad thing too...I am only 28, and I suffer from the dunlop disease...my belly done lopped over my belt.

My wife carted home a 350 short block, new in the plastic with gaskets and oil pump after hearing me say I wanted to get my truck fixed. She used to work in a auto parts store.

Man I would say you have a definate keeper there, sure is great getting your wife involved with something that means so much to you.

I think it's just because I promised to build her a Camaro after I'm done with mine, but I'll take what I can get. I want the Camaro too.

Careful! Strings attached...

A couple of years from now when you get in an argument this engine will be brought up. It never fails.

My wife told me to get the truck done, she was tired of me talking about it all the time. I went out and bought all that was needed. But we both work and have two kids, my girl is 5 and my boy is 2. Now I have the parts but no freaking time, can't buy that.

My daughter is 32, grown, and gone(well, almost). Wife and I work together in our own business. My wife is always buying stuff for the garage, shows me stuff I need in the Craftsman cata log and Harbor Freight catalog and gives me the money to go pick it up. I thank my lucky stars for her!

PS she ain't my first wife, but she is my LAST!
