68 Longhorn For Sale
Need to get rid of my '68 Longhorn. The engine is blown ('85 305) . I think the crankshaft is busted. Anyway you wouldn't buy this for the engine. TH400 transmission that worked fine but there is a leak in one of the lines. I drove this thing for 3 years before the engine blew. I was going to replace the engine but don't have the time to do it.
You can look at the pics here http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/woodro...bum?.dir=/4ba8 these were taken a couple of years ago. Not much has changed except I spray bombed the rest of the passenger side black and took off the mirror (I still have the mirrors). I took the chrome off the grill but still have it except for the "hockey sticks" that go on the front of the fenders. Bottom of fenders have been bondoed. Cab corners and rockers need replaced. Bed sides seem to be in great shape, some rust above the wheels. I can't find any bondo on them but there may be some. bed floor is covered with plywood so I really don't know what's underneath there except for the old rotten wood. Not for sure but I think the strips are still there. Dash has been cut out for a radio. No radio with the truck. Gauges should work but the only one I had hooked up was the amp gauge and speedo. Front tires are almost new, maybe 1000 miles on them. I also put new front shocks and right side wheel bearing. remember,,,,,,this thing is kinda rare. Not many longhorns where made in '68. If you have any questions let me know. You can email me at woodrow59@mail.com I'm just west of Atlanta. Oh yeah,,,,,,,,,first $500 gets it ,,,,,,,,,,
