Where does the throttle return spring connect to on a quadrajet?

Cool

I removed the cable so one could see the spring present. Installed, the cable would have blocked the view of the spring...

Skokie's truck is a 68, so it will be different than the 72 pictured above The bracket the spring is hooked to won't be on Skokie's truck. The 68 uses a throttle rod, the 72 uses the cable and bracket.

I'm pretty sure Ragenrat was talking about Skokie not having a Quadrajet. Last picture I saw of his engine, he had a 600 Holley on it.

Skokie told me via PM he was converting back to toally stock, so I'd imagine he's asking so he'll know how to put the quadrajet onto his truck.

Ah Haaaa! You are correct, I do recall this now. Been a while since my pre-72 ownership....Any pics to add please do so!
If I do recall, I believe there was a bracket that possibly came from the thermostat housing? alike Corvette?

Here's mine on the 69, it isn't stock, but it may spark some ideas maybe? The kickdown bracket was fabbed and includes a hole for the throttle spring. (I think the spring looks like crap pulled to the front)

You are 100% correct. I got the quadrajet last week from Randy (thanks Randy) I am going to get it rebuilt and put it on the GM intake I got last month.

Mine also is hooked up to the front, but that's because the throttle shaft bores wore out & had to be replaced, & I figure the factory way (to the rear) is probably why.
