Smaller Starter
Does anyone have the part number or year of truck that has the smaller 168 or cross bolt pattern starter that can be used on our trucks?
Thanks

I asked a few parts guys around here and I think it is a high torque starter from a 88-92 Chev 1500 with a package!
I Quit and bought a after market super special! I'd love to know this answer, as it is out there and those starters WORK for less!! Don't over heat with lots of torque! Take over your local wreckers for all of emm! Ehhhh!

If you want the GM part # for the gear reduction starter with staggered bolt mounting for a 168 tooth (14") flywheel, this is it: 9000852
