Wanted: choke linkage rod, intake heat riser to carb - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Getting another quadrajet carb with the divorced choke and I have the heat riser on the intake but I need the linkage rod to open/close the choke. If someone has one cheap I'd appreciate it, I need it quick.

if you need one ''quick'', make on out of a clothes hanger, it'll get you by till one comes available..aren't there a couple of different types/sizes? I'll go look in the shop right now and see if I have one for ya.

Yep, that's the one. I pm'd you back. Oh yeah, I did make one out of an old coat hanger too.

I have a crapload of old carb linkage rods that I thought would work but none of them did.
