Turbo 400 to 700R4 swappers...question inside
I'm swapping a 700R4 into my '77 C-20.
For you guys that have done this swap, how much needed to be cut from the driveshaft length? Thanks, SC

Not sure about the length of your T-400 tail housing, your best bet is to get your new trans instld. then put your your 700R4 yoke (not the same as T-400) in all the way, then pull back out .75" to 1.0", then measure from center line of u-joints. (be sure your rear suspension is at ride height when measuring). Just finished swaping to a 700R4 in my kids 68 PU, Take your wallet with ya when getting that new 700R4 yoke ($70.00) couldn,t find one at the salvage yard.
