quadrajet ID?

anyone know what this carb is from 17084223.i know its a 1984,but anyone know the application.

I found a 17084221 but no 3. That series was all '84 305's in c-10 & c-20. Double check the number and I'll look again if different.

I looked in my Chilton book for what its worth and did not see that carb number under any listing for the 84 model year which covers all US and CAN pick-ups and suburbans. It doesn't say if it includes blazers too. Good luck

It should be a 1984 cast 4 barrel Quadrajet built to federal specs (as opposed to california) meant to be used by Chevrolet division of GM in a vehicle with a manual transmission. Then again, i've seen model code sheets that indicate similar carb numbers going to just about anything from a fishing boat to a checker taxi so take all information with a grain of salt.
