Brake Booster going bad?
This just started the other day. Peddle seems like it is softer than usual and when I brake pretty hard the brake light on the dash will come on. I've checked the fluid, it was full and looked clean. Is my booster heading south or any other ideas? Thanks...

I would guess the master cylinder is going..when my boosters messed up the brake pedal became rock hard, not softer. A new m/c is not expensive, and wouldn't be a bad thing to replace anyway.

That's kinda the way mine feels. Is there any way to check them in order to be certain before swapping them out?

went through the same thing, ended up changing the proportioning valve and the master cyl, bled everything now Im good to go
