1999 Chevy 5.7L and 4L80E

From a 1999 3/4 ton Suburban.

Original owner totalled the Burb in 2001. Kept the motor and tranny to install into his Jaguar. Can't fit the tranny in the tunnel!

28K miles on it. I have the full harness and computer (runs and shifts the tranny) with all accessories.

1800 obro.

Why is all the good stuff so far away. I would be interested it you were closer, which is something you probably don't really want to hear, but this will also bump it back up. Good luck with the sell.

I am interested if it's a 4l80. Are you sure its not the 4l60? I live about 50 miles away.

Yep. Sure it's a 4l80E.

Came from a 3/4 ton Burb. Did you look at the pictures? You can see the control module on the driver's side of the tranny.

No clue. It's currently attached to a Vortec 350.

Would a 4L80E fit under a small hump cab?

Is this 5.7L the old style engine, or LS1 style? I know the pickups went to the new style in 99.

Yes, it will fit in a small tunnel. It's the older, in-between model. They use a different bolt head pattern on the intake manifold.

So then besides adjusting the wiring harness and reprogramming the computer, you'd just need a low pressure elec. fuel pump. kewl.

Now I just checked out the pics too. Should have looked at those before I posted my last post.

ttt for you.

Actually, I think you need a high pressure fuel pump. It's like an LT1 fuel system. They fuel lines into the fuel rails are there and you could use stock Chevy fittings to plumb the lines along the frame.
