I had a pretty busy weekend but didn't do anything truck related. I took my daughter Christmas shopping for her Mom. We spent some time with her volleyball club at the local Sams store. Each team spent an hour ringing the bell for the Salvation Army to raise money for charity.

I finally got the last of our Christmas light hung today

Put my truck back together so I can take it to the frame shop this week. Also sold a fridge and spent wayyyyyyyyyy to much money on my wife for x-mas but shes worth it.

I got the rest of the parts rounded up for my big block, I also got the intake and all of the brackets ready to get powder coated. Other than that the rest of my time was spent writing papers and studying for finals.

The new kitchen is sitting in the living room right now, waiting for the tradesmen to come and install them tomorrow. It was a long day, but a good one. How rewarding is it to take a hammer and prybar to your house?

Washed my truck saturday for JROTC military ball, which was a waste of my mom's $15 as it sucked this year. Sunday i brought some stuff to goodwill, and apparently closed my door hard enough to jump the window pane outta the track (the track is rotted a bit) so i came home and took off the door panel and fixed that, it had been loose, so we bent that bracket, and now there is NO RATTLE when i'm bumpin' the 6x9s Lubed the channels, and while i had the panel off, i tighted up the vent window, so now instead of blowing closed at 35, it blows closed at around 85....

Took the wife and two boys to a few stores weeeeeeeee what fun it is... got nuttin done but a bit of cleaning in the garage. But was nice to have a family together day even if it was shopping lol.

Got the rear fixed in my stepdads '66. It was a little bit of an adventure b/c I've never done a non-c-clip axle before (dana 44). But we got it back together and everything is good. Got nothing done on my trucks, but I'm off till friday and I have a whole list of things to get done for them. I also hope to build a console and put my old stock radio and stuff out of my S10 in the '66 for my stepdads xmas.

I got my 84 running with the Ramjet Intake and Megasquirt. Pictures and more info to follow later this week. I still have a couple issues to take care of and lots of tuning to do, but it sure was nice to actually hear it run.

got my brush guard in, bought a bestop soft top off ebay for the Blazer, and ran 24 hour duty at the rescue squad...now i have to study for exam week

got my welder last week, finaly had a chance to mess with it last night at my buddies shop. just welding scrap metal to practice for awhile. it is awsome even with fluxcore. can't wait until i can get an gas cylinder and some c25, but that will have to wait a few more weeks. i'm pretty broke at the moment.

other than washing the truck today and playing with the welder all i've gotten done is studying for exams.

yeah thats in my living room. guess you can tell i live alone, lol

Saturday night my 5 y/o daughter had a birthday party/sleepover, had 24 kids at the party and 6 spent the night. Spent most of today recovering mentally and cleaning up the carnage. I did manage to go have a look at a blazer i saw in the local paper, it turns out to be the very first 2wd blazer i ever owned, i sold it about 7 years ago. I am also going to look at another 2wd blazer tomorrow.

I spent the good part of Saturday taking apart the front end of my Suburban getting ready to pull the engine and probably tranny at the same time.
BTW, parting 1979 Suburban 1/2T 4x4 - not many body parts, but everything except engine and tranny is available.

Swapped my driver side window regulator. I figured it would take a couple of hours but it did not want to come apart & going back together was an equal challange. I worked on it from 10 to 10 on Sat & wound up finishing it up Sun afternoon/evening just before dark.

My only guess is the opening for the regulator wheels/arms wasn't in the right place on the window sash which added to the level of difficulty. When I went to put it back together I had to open the length of the hole about 1/4"+ to get everything to fit.

Now I have to finish out the hole I had to put in the door for access to the sash & put a matching one in the pass door. I'll be mounting some door speakers next.

I managed to place my new crate engine in and get it hooked to the tranny. ( Its cold out there in the garage) Hopfully I can get it running next week.

I yanked two new doors off of a 89 burb. Soon I will have power windows and Power locks. I also took the dash apart to retrieve the wiring harness and solenoid as well. I got this all for $75. what a deal, the doors are perfect.

spent the first part of Sat doing my military duty, got out of the 2nd half of the day to do some house work. It was just a Christmas lunch and an Insurance meeting.. so didnt miss much. I fixed a clogged disposal and a leaking toilet. Then spent too much money on groceries...

Friday- Spent some time at my gf dad's shop, shooting the **** with him. Then went with the gf and got her christmas shopping done. Was too foggy to go out to the local cruise spot.
Saturday- Slept in, finally finished up the raingutters around the house, and hung christmas lights. Then, went and got pizza, and went out to the local cruise night and we all helped my buddy install his Nitrous kit in his 90 CRX Si. But we ended up not wiring up the bottle heater, and the bottle was ICE cold, so it was pointless to spray that night. So, we all went to Denny's like usual and called it a night
Sunday- Slept in, spent all day working on final stuff for English, watched some TV, that's it really...

I got some welding done on my homemade chopper tank. The bike is the front half of a 70's dirt bike welded to the rear of a four wheeler. Strange but cool.

I did get to drive my truck though, it was nice and warm here.

Finished making plans for my new frame w/ the owner of "Darkstar Fabrication". Gave him 50% down and the madness will start soon.
