halftop

Ok guys what is one of those halftops worth? The kind that makes your blazer look like a truck? I don't think I won't it but I found one and owner has no idea what to ask for it. For that matter I don't either. From pic I was sent looks like it is in good shape. Thanks ahead of time.

Recently a guy was making new ones that he was selling for about a grand. I'd say get it even if you don't want it, or offer him a couple of hundred for me and I'll make a road trip - I've got a couple of weeks off. I really don't want or plan to use one, but it would be cool to have it.

They are hard to find, especially if it includes the bulkhead ( metal piece to box in the bed) I paid $400.00 for mine with the bulkhead. If you can get it cheaper than this buy it!

If I had them ship it what would be the best/cheapest way? I think I have added a pic what do ya'll think?Oh yeah it is located in Crivitz, Wisconsin.

Mine came from Wisconsin to Kentucky for $75.00. I think the factory that made these was in Wisconsin, seems to be alot of them up there. The company that built mine was called Glasstite. If I were you I would buy it...

Haven't heard from them since Fri. night. I am bidding on a steering wheel they have on e-bay now. Should hear from them tonite or tomorrow. If I do buy it and decide not to keep it I probably will use it as trade bait. Been a lot of interest thru PM's and even a couple on this thread. I'll let ya'll know what's going on as soon as I do.

If you can get it for $150, go for it. They seem to be in demand. I'd bet the bulk head wouldn't be that hard to get made.

Problem is they said cheapest shipping they could come up with was $250? I am talking to another board member about getting it as far south as Roanoke. Maybe eventually it will end up here. They also have a windshield frame and cowlplus 2 doors. Don't know shape of any but looks OK in pics. I wouldn'tmind having the cowl but again is in Wisconsin. My cowl has a hole on driver's side which I think was for a spotlight. I can patch it but if I had that one thought it might be easier. Oh well that's what I get for living in a great state. Everything is far away, but I wouldn't location with anyone. Everybody have a good Christmas.
