Very Original '67 C20 Custom Camper FOR SALE
I'm selling my '67 C20 Custom Camper. I'm the third owner (only second to hold the title). I bought it pretty much as it is now and have stored it for three years in my dad's tractor shed. It's a very original 327/TH400 pickup that has 69,000 original miles on it. It was bought in Dallas and driven by a Dallas-ite until around 2001. About the only thing I've done is to remove the bed and do a little suspension work, and replace the rear end with a Dana 60 (3.54, open). The motor threw a rod before I bought it, but I was told everything else worked fine at the time the previous owner over-revved the motor. It has been painted once, and there's only one place I've found bondo. It is a highly-optioned pickup for a three-quarter ton (18 opts.) . There is some rust on top (!) of the rocker panels and under the battery. It is as nice as it looks. It is still mostly put together, but I have a couple things unbolted that will go with it (carb, air cleaner, driveshaft, etc.). I also have THE original title from April 10, 1967 and the manual with its Protect-o-plate. I even have the set of five split rims (but only two hubcaps) if you're so inclined. $1500
I also have a 327 that I was going to put in it. It's a '68 large-journal 327 that is supposed to be rebuildable (I haven't checked for sure). $100 I am in College Station, TX--an hour NW of Houston. The pickup is in Wolfe City, TX--an hour NE of Dallas. Priced to be picked up or I can deliver in NE, East, or Central Texas for $100 more. Contact me by PM and include your email address if interested.
