Picked up a Blazer? today!
We picked up a 71 Blazer today. As Randy would say it is a "fixer upper".
I don't think that there is one good panel on it but the frame is good. Jim |

The owner was nice enough to load it on the trailer. I thought that it was worth picking up as the cigarette lighter was a factory original. Some of you may recognize the Blazer sans top that was on E-bay a couple of weeks ago.

She's rough, but look on the bright side, there are people who have pulled old model T's and such from swamps and have restored them to showroom condition. Good luck with her, she needs some TLC.

Meathead,
I looked at the tub floor area and it is trash, sorry. It is fun picking up rusted out trucks. There are always some good parts on them. Gee Em is one of my heros! He can do lots with little to start with. Jim |

Nice one!
I see some trim, fender emblems, rear chrome...lots of good stuff and tons of good "practice welding" material too. |

vtblazer,
The Blazer did have a good part that I have been looking for. Underneath the usual garbage was a 4x4 upper radiator hose pipe in very good condition. That part alone, made the trip worthwhile! Junk Yard John, That sounds like a good deal on the Blazer. Carson City is just too far for me to go. This is a picture of the last Blazer that we did. (I am sure that there are some folks that think we started with a better project). Jim |
