Factory grease pencil marks / assembly line markings
The new pics of the assembly line at 73-87.com got me to thinking. Does anyone have any info on the factory grease pencil marks / assembly line markings for our trucks? I still have them on the firewall and radiator core support of my 1986 Suburban. I've taken some photos (sorry, not on the web) in case I lose them in the future sometime.
I'm just having a "thought of the day"... Kevin

dunno, but mine are all still there, on the firewall, core support, frame, and everything. my burb is uber-clean, the frame could almost pass as brand new.

I only have one pic of mine, and it isn't the greatest. It said "yellow/gold" and "339" I believe below that. When I painted the truck yellow the first time, I thought the paint would cover it..wrong (as you can see). I wish I would have gotten a pic of it before the first paint job.
