I live up in Brookhaven, (45 minutes south of Jackson on I-55). Anyone planning on hitting the Hot Rod Power tour either as a long-hauler or when it comes to Birmingham?

I decided to have Rod Doors make it for me since I got some other interior pieces from them. It is their Bidwell model, extremely comfortable!! The risers they use are awesome too. They adjust from 2" to 5" rise, tilt and pitch, and slide front to rear for a custom fit.

Thanks for all the great comments! As for the stance, it is a 3/4 drop using shorter springs. I have been trying to make up my mind for the past two years about what style wheels to step up to. I have a set of BFGoodrich G-Force radial 275/40zr18's just waiting to go on for shows. I just kicked the 250 I-6 out and installed a nice built 350 and a 700r4. It is a blast with the 4.11 rear end still in it! I don't see the 15's lasting too terribly long.

I think some torq thrust 18's would look sweet on it.

One day, my shortstep might look that nice! Damn nice looking. I think American TT2's are hard to beat even though everyone has them. If you were staying with the 15''s then I'd really like factory truck rally wheels.

Nice truck. White looks great on there, a color I don't see everyday on these trucks.

Welcome to the board from the Hattiesburg area! That's definitely a sweet truck you have. Do you ever get over this way? I would love to see it in person.

67ChevyC10stepside,
This may sound cheesy, but once I had the truck painted and began installing the brackets and new lenses, I did not like the look of the truck with the backup lights on it.

Brookhaven in the house....hey, Welcome from Central Mississippi's own hood-away-from-home....JACKSON!
To answer your Power Tour question, G-Man69 (Byram, MS) is going on the tour. He is planning to meet up with the crowd at Indy and drive the rest of the tour. If you every get up to Jackson, give us a shout (PM us on the board). There are several of us up here around Jackson that hang out a good bit and shoot the sh....well....
Plus, the first Saturday of EVERY month, there is a cruise-in in Byram at a place called Flashbacks. Some of the hottest old cars around (1940's-1970's). From totally stock to blown-and-juiced. Starts at 6:00pm.
