Thanks for sharing
all experience and knowledge to all who do so. I have not been able
to advise much, but when I can, rest assured I will. On to my questions though. I have a squeeky speedo, weee-weee-weee-weee which increases i speed as the truck does (drives me crazy) and it also registers 15-20 mph too slow at 70-80mph(reads 60 or so). The bed also tilts ever so slightly to the right, when viewed from behind, and the wipers make a bad racket, reeeee-raaaaa- reeeee-raaaaa. Any advice is well appreciated! Thanks, JB |

Your speedo- sounds like you need to grease the cable and shove it back in the jacket. Are you sure that your bed is tilting and not your cab? Sounds like your cab bushings are shot.

sweeeeeek....you can take your speedo cable out and pull the spinny thingy out of the cable, grease it, and push it back in, or buy a new one and have to do the same exact thing.
its off a little.................. they are normally off by a % not a set mph. you will have to get different drive gears for the speedo (its connected to the tranny) your local tranny shop can help and there are recent threads have links to online calculators to help you figure out which gears you need. a little tiltty.............replace your bed mounts sweak sweak sweak....... lube all your joints in the wiper arm assemblies
