Whats the best form of getting rid of this look? Lowerd control arms? Crossmember drop? Drop spindles? I dont have the funds for the mustang 2 front systems! I want to do this the old way in my own garage! I just want it to be tucked up and neat! thankx for any replies!

Also this is not my truck! I just borrowed the pic mine is a 68.

DJM makes tubular arms for static drop....AirRide makes tubular arms for bags...click on the names for more info. Other than that, short of z'ing the frame I'm not sure you can move them up enough doing a crossmember drop to not see them...

try adding an airdam.. will atleast cover it up..

Well the reason i was asking is that i have not transferred out my stock 68 crossmember setup for the 72 upgrade! Since i already have the 72 front already out of the donor truck i should consider the chop on the crossmember? I have read most of the post on "crossmember drop" which method is best?

Another question i have is if i use lowering control arms does that mean i have to use a drop coil?

Honestly, black satin paint would go a long way toward making those lower arms less conspicuous.

Crossmember drop and stop laying on the ground in front of trucks only the gophers see it that way

Scroll down the suspension page till you get to a thread called "crossmember drop" That will answer ALOT of questions! Just be ready sit and read and read and read and read and read!

It is welll worth it tho.

I as well know that the black will take care of alot! Like a said before that pic is not my truck! Mine are already black but i can still notice too much hanging down!
