What is a fair price (range) for this

This Burb is on craigs list in NYC. (not mine) http://newyork.craigslist.org/mnh/car/55922262.html I have a '72 cheyenne but have always considered a Suburban if I could get a good deal. Don't know if this has AC, PS, PB and don't know what the interior looks like or what the rust situation is (can't tell from the pics). I've asked the seller for more pics. If there is any interest from anyone on the board I'll post them. Assuming it is in average condition, what is the price range for a Burb like this. I'm thinking that $3800 is at least a grand too high (but I am a newbie to all this) Thanks in advance.

If it is truly a clean truck that only needs paint and slight interior work, then $3800 is a steal! Now it the floors are rusted through, interior is shot, motor is on its last leg...etc...then it would not be a good deal.

Looks pretty good, but makes me wonder how long he has had it as second owner.

And why it's a resale so soon...

Do you live close enough to take a look see...?

He is out of town until the end of the month. I work in the city so I'm gonna check it out when he gets back in town

Keep us up to date on what you find out.

Saw a 67 locally myself, but haven't had time to check her out.
