Talking MORE Progress pics!! - Cab on frame :)

Got the cab back on the frame tonight! Hell yeah! Now I'm getting excited...... starting to look like a truck again! All I have to say is air bags and 18" billet wheels rule! And I'm very happy with the turquoise color. It's really starting to come together now. I think I'll drink another beer to celebrate :p

DREW67.... so I guess the wife wouldn't let you come back over and play, huh? LOL

You are going to have to quit posting pictures. Your making me want air bags really bad. That looks plain mean with the fenders off and those big tires. Sweet truck man. Are you going to leave the doorhandles and stuff? I think it gives the truck a nice touch.

Thanks guys!

Low69CST, yes I'm going to leave the door handles on, as well as the stock chrome sport bumpers, and GMC grille. No side trim, shaved fuel filler hole, smooth firewall.

chevy2racr: No, I wasn't trying to show off the '57 ..... I had to move the truck chassis out of the garage to set the cab on the frame so I had to move the car out of the way. Just hadn't covered it back up all the way when the pics were taken.

Cool truck! And nice work too! Is the color going to be solid? I think ghost flames would be awesome with THAT color and THAT truck.

geez, that thing is looking sweet! I was planning on doing a factory light - blue paint job, but I saw a new mini cooper-s on the street the other day, and that light blue is awesome. But anyways, awesome truck, hope to see it in person someday!! Best of luck with a speedy assembly
