Hey guys, I'm kinda of new to the board and I just learned of the rule about posting your ride. Well here it is so far. It is a 67 SWB 1/2 ton 2wd. I have added a big block, 350 turbo tranny, ECE 3.5" front and 5" rear drop kit, ECE front sway bar, ECE super track bar, ECE front disc brake conversion kit, KYB shocks, one piece drive shaft, march pulley system, power steering and A/C. All I got that was any good when I made the purchase was a frame and a title. I am having to acquire EVERYTHING! Let me know what you think.

When I started on mine all I could use was the bed sides and they needed a lot of work. Keep up the good work. Love that 502.

slogo - I didn't shave the roof rails. I wanted the rails so I ditched the cab and got a factory air cab. I had the cab on the board "FREE". Someone said they were going to come get it this weekend, but so far....NO SHOW! I haven't gotten to the body mods yet, but I know I'm going to do the side marker fuel filler thang!

Looks to be exceptionally good work. The 502 really looks good in there. BTW is that a '66-'67 Chevelle in the background in that one pic?

Deuce - the frame is painted, probly should have powdercoated (Chevelle in the background is powdercoated)

Lolife99 - I like the March pulley system. I got it off another car I bought though. I don't think I would shell out the cash to buy one. I had to buy the power steering pump, pulley and bracket. That was $300....Ouch! The fit and finish is great though.

Hobby67stepside - Yes that is a 66 Chevelle in the background. I'm waiting on the machine work on the motor. It's a 427.

Hey David, awesome truck (and chevelle) Is that a crate 502? Can you tell me if you are running roller rockers or not? I'm looking at a set of those valve covers and need to know if they will clear a set of roller rockers. Thanks!

David J, I bought a new '66 Malibu when I was a senior in high school. They really catch my eye. Some day I hope to have another. Good luck on yours. With a 427 it will be fun!

Purs - no it's not a crate motor and I'm not running rollers. I don't think they will clear with those valve covers if that helps.

How about this for a paint scheme? Only change the blue to black and the pewter to cortez silver.
