That is awsome ! I am sorry but i would be afraid to even roll that thing out of the garage , you better just mount a couch on it , put it in the living room and let the wife dust it from time to time

That is funny. My plan is to show it for a couple of years and then just use it as a summertime sunday driver. The body is well underway. I have over the years collected all Gm nos sheetmetal. I was even lucky enough to have purchased a set of NOS boxsides from Jerry Brown at the Truck shop in crossville Tn. The only original parts that I will have used is the hood, cab, and Doors. My restoration guy has spent numerous hours correcting the factory flaws with the fit of the panels. It is a shortbed Cheyenne Super. Black on Black.

One of the next things to cover will be the wood floor. I managed to hook up with another local board member "classicchev" he is the guy you want to have make your wood for you! When we get it done I'll post some photos.

Thanks for the feedback!

Curt

I bought the truck from a guy down in the states about 9 years ago. Here is a pic of the chassis before. And a couple of shots the day it left for the restoration shop.

I was just in the middle of typing a email to ask where the recent pics were, and I thought , man I had better check to see if you posted some.

Guys, I have personally seen this project, those pictures DO NOT, in any way, show the amount of detail that has been put into this frame. There are detailed parts that will NEVER be seen, even if someone crawled underneath with inspection mirrors. Keep going Curtis, your work will pay off.
Keep those pics coming, they are even motivating me to get the other non vehicle related projects out of my shop so I can finish my Jimmy.

How is Tuesday night for meeting with Corie??? Call me.

Later, Darren
