Moving east

I'm getting ready to make the move southeast from KANSAS to North Carolina. I'm ready for a chenge and my wife wants to move to her home town. I'm starting school in march hopefully at NTI in Mooresville. Just wanted to give ya'll a heads up since you all have been a big help in advice for a few years now. Maybee I can meet up with some people from that area and make some friends considering I'm only 17 hours or more away. I need to now some good areas to get stuff done to like media blasting, powdercoating, etc. Thanks again for all the help but My project work time is done,,,, For a while. KANSAS NC.

Move

Shortbed, you'll love NC. I spent a year in Manhattan Kansas chasing every skirt in KSU and even managed to catch a few~~~. There are a lot of great board members in NC and I'm sure you will hook up quick. Which City are you heading to as that will help? Huck

What you can't get done in Mooresville in the way of automotive work (the Real home of NASCAR) you can get done in Charlotte.

and Welcome to the Tar Heel State. Ya gonna love it here. Hope you like Country Ham and Eggs with a side dressing of GRITS. Moonshine is out now. Interstate 40 from the western tip to the eastern tip with the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the Appalachian Mountains on the other side, with Mooresville being the Nascar Capitol of the Nation. Go over to Master Power Performance Brakes on Crosslake Park Road and you will see what I mean. All sorts of Nascar driver Garages with the Nascar Historical Museum right in the middle. If you are into boating or fishing, there is a humongus lake there, Lake Norman. Other points of interest if you are into the roll of showing your car or truck. High Point has the largest Cruise in, in the Southeast on Thursday afternoons from 4:30 to 9:00pm. Held on US311 off business I85 1/4 mile north if the interstate past Sonic Drive in on the left in the big parking lot at Home Furnishings Mart. Weather has to break first though. Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord with two times a year the Hornet's Nest swap meet and car show. One BIGGIE for sure. I live in the Piedmont section, Gibsonville, between Burlington, and Greensboro.

We go I-70E to kentucky then to 65 to I-25 to 40hw all the way through. I'm definetly going to look ya'll up because I'm going to need people to BS with and go to shows with. I've been down to peigon forge for three years on vacation and theres something about that southern hospitality that draws me there. I'm going to the nascar school in Mooresville for 18 months maybee longer but I want to learn to fabricate and have a degree, being only 25 I need to find a direction in my life and head that way so NC is going to be my start on life. Thanks everyone for the support and I will always have a computer near to talk and get advise. Thanks alot.

Troy.
