Is this a good deal?

I didnt know where to post this question but whats a 1986 chevy crew cab dually 2wd with 454, overdrive tranny, ac, eveything you possibly can think. No rust, runs great, beige in color inside and out, whats this truck worth. The guy wants 2 grand for it. It has 140,000 miles on it. Im looking for a project truck im looking at this one and or if anybody has one for sale of any 67-87 trucks for sale let me know.

It depends, Sounds like a good deal but are you willing to pay 2 g's? Why not offer 1500.00 and go from there. The high miles might be something to bring up also I would have the trucks engine checked out by a shop. Id hate to buy a truck that high of miles and end up with a "tired" engine. Your 2g's could turn into more then that later. Just my 2 cents.

High miles? 140k on a 19 year old vehicle. I think it's a GOOD price. If you are not interested I might be. Where are you located?

Yes, if it's that clean it's a good deal. Make sure everything works correctly and make an offer. Then enjoy the ride....

2K for a crewcab is a steal. 2k for a crewcab with a running 454 is robbery on your part. 2K for a 4x4 crewcab with a running 454... well, lets just say the seller will likely be referring to you as "Bubba" before you leave.
