OT 10 sec Silverado

Anyone here ever go to Dfwstangs.net? If you want to see a cool truck, go to the "Picture and Video post forum" The thread is titled Videos BY ME 10 sec truck, tons of street racing. They're pretty big files so dial up beware. Awesome 4WD truck beating up on Cobras and Z06 Vettes.

There was an S10 Twin turbo at the street machine nationals last weekend at Bradenton FL that was getting 6.60's at close to 220 MPH. That would have to be the fastest truck I have ever seen. Also there was an 96 firebird LS1 Small block that had an 8.20.

I don't know about the S10, but parish drives his truck on the street with street tires and gets those times. It is very impressive.

YES It's about 3 miles east of me...There is a sign out front stating that they'll be open late summer '05. My next door neighbor works for the City of Crandall and seems to think it'll be short lived or not at all do to possible housing development in that area. Although it's not the City of Crandall right there, they do need water hook ups. This was stated by neighbor. So I'm thinking Crandall may not want them there. If built, the track is less than a 1/2 mile from those custom homes on the north side of 175. Ouch!! big new house + race track=
