New longer oil dipstick

Does anyone have a lead on a new longer dipstick that can be used to replace our old dipstick? The new GM crate motors have dipsticks that stick up higher than the motor which would be awesome in a lifted truck/blazer. The old factory dipstick is just way too low.

I thought I'd ask before I waste money on a aftermarket or crate motor dipstick that may not work.

thanks,
Richard

Ya a full size van TH350 dipstick would locate the dipstick end in easy reach at the front of the eng.

VERY handy in a lifted truck!

K5Krazy has a long transmission dip stick on his Blazer. I can't remember what he said it was from, but it is much more convienient than the stock transmission dip stick.

I'll have to look into the van dipstick. Do you know what years?

I got a pic from a guy who has it in his 72 Blazer.
He said it's from a 70's-early 80's full size GM van with a th350.
He said he had to "tweak" the dipstick slightly by bending it over his knee but it works well.

Here you can see the postion.Right up front in the eng.
