Watch out for the idiots that drive like, er, well....idiots around nicely restored vehicles. There have been too many storys here about wrecked bumpers, fenders, grills, etc..

Well its legal now. Still have some tuning issues and a little tranny trouble. But other than that it rides great and drives great too! The tranny is a TH350 and it seems to shift much too quickly. It has been modified to some extent but it feels solid and all just shifts fast. I am thinkin vac. mod. is weak or line has leak. What do you all think?

Pull the hose off on the modulater, and turn the little screw in 2 full turns. Re hook the hose and try that.
In = higher RPM shifts
Out = lower RPM shifts.
This could also be your kick down cable if it is doing it under hard acceliration.
I know I can't spell.

You'll have to take your keyboard to the repair center and have a new spelling cam installed. Not cheap, but ya look smarter.

It may have been cheaper to pay than to take off a work day and go to court, but the popular defense to these tickets is to have them prove you were the driver. Since that's impossible by photo, they really can't pin the ticket on you... at least that has been my personal experience back in Texas . "Hey, I loaned my car to a buddy. I do that a lot. No, I don't remember who it was that day... but if you find out let me know so I can tell him to slow down."

Longhornmail, you were right but the modulator had never been adjusted at all. I turned it in about 6 or so turns and it shifts like a dream now. I even took it on a back road and gave her a little he77. I got a little rubber into third didn't expect that! Thanks to all for your help.
