Hi guys ,
here under , on the left side , a 6.2 Diesel , and on the right side a 350 gasser... you may directly see the difference between the two engines , knowing that the bore is almost the same... I sold that 6.2 to a friend a while ago , his intentions are to tranform that engine into a gasser , to put it in a 1970 Chevelle , and go to the track. he told me that he saw such engines already transformed into gasser , and they could put almost 1000 HP out on the track... ![]() that guy is nuts , if you'd ask me... ![]() greetzz the Baron

A good friend of mind had a horrible SWB 6.2 diesel. Everything raddled and was about to fall off. He litterally blew off his campershell of the back of the truck with a couple odd subwoofers he aquired. That thing was slow even compared to my 305. Got great mileage though. He about destroyed it so he donated the thing and got a new truck.

Welcome, JustOneTruck!
If you enjoy reading about diesels, then you'll also love these sites: www.thedieselpage.com This is the best source on the 'net for GM Diesels. It costs a little to become a member, but it's the best money you'll ever spend on your diesel. www.thedieselplace.com is a freebie site, but mostly concerns the later Duramax diesels, but there is a 6.2L forum. www.coloradok5.com has a good diesel forum, but it's now a pay site as well. But you can still read the other posts. Have fun! Casey

I just sold, before my deployment, my 1980 swb step-side. 350/T350. It started life in AZ as a diesel(Olds 350). I got some pics here somewhere... The wiring under-dash was a pure nightmare!
