Question Autozone coil spring compressor?

Hey guys, I am to the point for reinstalling my front coil springs.

Will the autozone compressor work for our trucks, I am trying to avoid setting my old 6 engine back in place and bolting up .

The tool is has one large threaded bolt with 2 bars to compress the coils, the tool looks kind of like the letter "I" - will this work? I am working on a bare rolling chassis with no body parts in the way.

Thanks for the input and replies, spring cannot get here soon enough.

That is exactly the tool I used. I was kinda' scared of it at first, but I was gentle with it and it did the trick.

I just put mine in and heres what i did, For the record I hate coil spring compressors,
I put the spring in the lower bucket and placed a floor jack under the lower control arm, easily raised the jack and spring into the upper bucket, once the spring was set in place I used a 2 inch 10000 lb ratchet strap, placing it around both lower and upper control arms, a couple of clicks and the spring was in place and I was able to torque both lower and upper ball joints in place. It was simple,,,,,,,,,I can give you a pic of the strap if you like. Ive seen compressors brake and that was not fun to see,,,,plus its tight in there and the compressors make you invent new words for the english language...Mine was also a rolling chasis.

I just used my floor jack with some rags under the control arm center bar until it poped into the brackets on the cross member. In went the U-bolts, and I torqued them down to spec. Done.
