Didn't take any pics yet, it was crappy outside yesterday so the light wasn't good. Didn't have a chance today so I'lle try to get some pics tommorrow.

I did get it in the burb, it works and so does the clock & the glovebox light. Looks nice too. The only thing I don't like is the numbers are too white. They don't match the greenish white of the original guages but I can live with it...

no quartz clocks were available in 2nd gen Camaro, which is where the tach came from. I have the most common kind of clock in my Z28, the broken kind!

I used the 130 MPH speedometer and tach and fuel gauge (cluster with idiot lights) all from a camaro. My truck cluster had the idiot light not gauges so I had to do alot more modifying due to the fact my turn indicators were in the center hole where the tach went, I just relocated them and rewired them. It took ME all weekend to do mine but I went slow and took my time because I knew I only had one dash and one chance NOT to screw it up. Here's the finished dash.

You can use a 2nd gen Camaro non-quartz clock or one from a 73-87 full size truck. I just saw a quartz one in a truck 2 weeks ago at a junkyard but didn't feel like pulling it because it's too time consuming.

Yes I airbrushed the flames myself. I also airbrushed the hotwheels truck in my avatar. That's possibly what my GMC exterior may look like in the near future when I get finished with the body work. Maybe now since the weather is warming back up some I can get it done.
