body removal on 85 suburban
Can anyone give me a quick set of instructions, or point me to a web page with them, for removing the body from my 1985 diesel 2WD suburban? I want to preserve wiring, but remove the entire body, down to the frame.
Thanks, John.

All you need to do is remove all the bolts holding theboddy down. And then walk aaround the entire truck and start disconnecting wires. When you are lifting the body do it slowly and keep checking for anydangling wires that are still connected.

It is just a matter of removing the body mounts and wires, and having a plan on how to lift it off... Check out my site I have pics of what I went through.
