Old school look Baby moon?

Ok guys don't laugh, Ok go ahead and laugh I bought a scion Xb. One of those funky little box cars. It gets 33 MPG and I got a 106 mile drive back and forth to work.

I'm wanting to put alow bug approach to some custom wheels for the thing and was thinking of baby moons and trim rings. I found the 15" trim rings at a local autozone for $10 ea. Now I need to find some baby moons anybody remember if they attached via the inside of the lip or the outside of the cap What size were and are still available?

Moons are still avilable from american racing, among others.. Not sure about how the ring holds on though, since all I have seen are wheels without rings in the picture. Here's a link:
