hey guys, was wondering if anyone knows good place to get some inexpensive headers. I have a 350/TH350 setup in my 69. I heard you could get some shorties that fit chevelle SS and they would work, but looking for advice. Thanks

I've seen trucks with the Chevelle headers, nice setup. I think the part number may be 68600 from Hedman(please confirm), but I'm sure others make it as well. Summit has these for about $135....And they don't hang way down which is nice if you want ground clearence.

sounds good. My truck is 2/4 drop. Is there any certain year chevelle I gotta use?

I have dynomax headers installed on one of my trucks purchased from Advance for less than $100 - I don't claim them to be any kinda of performance header but they do OK.

Check Ebay, collector & truck parts. I saw some new chrome block huggers with gaskets, bolts, and collectors with a buy it now price of $65. Chrome has a tendency to turn blue after a while, but that's dirt cheap.

The 64-77 should be the right years...and as Jimbotronics stated I'm sure Dynomax has them as well. If you buy from a decent outfit, you can return if not what you want.....
As for block huggers, I've never seen them installed on one of our trucks, but I'd be nervious about hitting the motor mount, but they may fit.

The chromed block hugger headers on Ebay will NOT fit our trucks !!

LUV2XCLR8, is there a different Chevelle part number? I ask because I know my dad ran a set of Chevell 3/4 lenght ones for about 8 years on a 2wd w/ 350/350....I just don't know the part number he had.
