Whats a 1971 Mint Shortbed Frame worth??
This frame is in mint shape. It has mint trailing arms, new brakes all around, lowered 2" in the front, been sandblasted and 3 coats of black hardened paint, set of motor mounts--they were $60 new, not pitted and straight. I will have several pics tomorrow. This is in Norhtern Illinois. I have no idea what to ask, but I do know what has been invested in it. I am thinking about listing it on Ebay...but will tkae offers on here first. This is just the frame. Oh yeah it has 3:73 gears in it.

No idea what it is worth, but you should figure what you put into it just to get a general idea. You probably won't get it back, but at least it gives people an idea of the value. It would be nice if you had the cab with matching # to make it easier to register.
Every time I see a shorty, they are closer and closer. I am doing a shorty next, and this one is two days drive from me, I am starting to get really tempted JB |

Rolling SWB frame prices vary. It really depends on who wants one and how close they are.
I bought a nice complete straight 69 SWB roller from a board member for $300 last summer, I drove to PA to pick it up on the way to Carlisle for the truck show. Considering yours is redone, it should fetch more, 5 lug disc brakes would get even more I'd think. Search the parts forum for frames and see what others priced theirs at, that would be a good starting point |
