ive got a few parts that just laying around taking up space that i would like to get rid of...

first off is a th700r4 tranny that came on the truck when i bought it and wouldnt shift because the truck is carbed and i didnt want to buy a lockup kit so just put a th350 in it instead. previous owner said it was rebuilt when he bought it. numbers on it are as follows 6MPM-Y-00331869-1-55C which i believe decodes as: 6 meaning 1986 (year built), MP (engine size) 305, M meaning THM-700-R4, Y building location: Toledo, 00331869 are numbers from VIN from vehicle installed on, 155 being the 155th day of the year, and C is from which shift it was built on which is the second. $150. would prefer not to ship but will at buyers expense. comes with torque converter, kickdown cable, dipstick, etc.

secondly is a bumper from my '81 pickup..painted grey...pulled off for a new chrome one..$50 or make an offer.

next is a set of drop springs from my '81 pickup. i dont have a clue as to how many inches the drop is but can post pics of truck with springs on them for reference. only reason took of is because rednecks and lowriders dont mix. SOLD

also have a set of four 6 lug rims pulled off of a '68 p/u i believe. good friend of the family gave the tires to me but was too lazy to pull of the rim so gave me the whole thing. will include beauty rings that shine up real nice (will post pics) make an offer

quadrajet carb...worked fine when pulled off truck. only reason this was pulled off was because parents bought me an 500 eddy for christmas..can include EGR if wanted...SOLD

oil pan for SBC...came off of 305 with spun bearing. bought a new motor and put on and realized that both sides are molded for dipstick so had to buy a new one...make an offer

thats it for now....prefer not to ship heavy items but will if needed. all are located in columbia, SC. will send pics to anyone interested or post them in thread. really need the money b/c im trying to get truck painted and restored. I also need the drivers side chrome trim around bezel if have (got other three pieces from scrapyard and dont want to pay $28 shipped for a new one) as well as the headlight bezels themselves for a dual headlight '81 pickup. also would be interested in trading or buying a grille for the same truck (factory or chrome square tube).

Sounds like the TV cable was not adjusted properly. 700's work just fine with carbs.

Sounds like the TV cable was not adjusted properly. 700's work just fine with carbs.

well it was an electronic hookup on tranny and the truck isnt computer controlled....the kit to make it work was like $150 so i just got a free th-350 from my g-ma's old van.

here is a pic of how low the springs dropped the truck. you can also see a small corner of the bumper that is for sale as well as the beauty rings that come with the 6 lug rims (shine up real nice). will take pics of everything that is for sale and post them on here hopefully a little later today.
