Hey guys,

my 72 C20 Camper Special needs new brakes. Id like to upgrade
to something better... maybe duel pistons. I want to use the same master cylinder, but other than that Im open to other upgrades..

What do you guys suggest?

Where do I get them??

k... just got off the phone with jegs....

Stainless - has a 2 piston caliper setup for $400 bucks....

Any thoughts???

Word to the wise. Find out exactly what the clamping force is of any "high perf "calipers you consider upgrading to and compare it to the stock caliper. You will often find little difference for the whopping price difference.

Whatever you decide, add PraiseDynoBrake to your investigations. Great products and helpful staff. With regards to the above advice, PDB said they tested SSBC's "Force10" calipers and found they only have 50lbs more clamping force than my K10's reliable, single-piston oem calipers. Not much difference for the huge price difference. Happy hunting.

A pair of rebuilt stock calipers will run under 40 bucks at your local parts store. I think you'll be happy with the brakes on your truck as long as you rebuild it to good as new condition. These trucks with disc brakes stop real well.
