gabriel hi jackers(ride quality)??

now i know they will help with the ride when i am loaded but what about when the bed has nothing in it? i haul a honda wheeler that has a dry weight of 560LB. about everyother wkend 400 mile around trip. the truck likes to bounce around on the big bumps and suspesion feels soft. i would like to put them on but i cant find any info on how they ride w/o a load. can i just air them down competly and have a regular set of shocks? will they ride good? i will proably be running gabreil ultra's on the front. sound good?
thanks in advance
seth

You are not supposed to run them with no air. They will blow out the seals. But you can run them down on air to were the will give a descent ride. Wont be as nice as regular shocks though, but with regular shocks you cant carry a heavy load. There is always a trade off.

I just put some of there shocks with the overload springs on them out back. I replaced some Monroe Magnums witch were still good. The ride is much better now and it handels much better now too. Havent hauled anything yet so I dont know how they will handel any weight.

they claim you can haul an extra 500LB with the over load spring setup, but i normaly haul a 560+ lb four wheeler. best i remember they also claim the seals will not be damaged on the highjackers by running without any pressure in them?
im mainly looking to get a better ride while loaded, the shocks are factory now so they should give a better ride anyway with low pressure right?
