Those pants have been to hell and back... I could probably wring about 2 quarts of oil and 1 quart of ATF from them.
If I can nip this ignition problem in the bud tonight, she is ready to roll.

So, she's outta the garage, but under my power. Got the ignition thing figured out, then I discovered that I am not getting any fuel to the carb. If I poored some gas into the carb, she would start RIGHT up and run for a few secs.
There is fuel in the clear filter, but there is a big air bubble, and when I turn it over, I can tell that fuel isn't pumping. I just bought a brand new fuel pump and installed it a few nights ago. It definitely pumped for at least a few secs, because I got fuel into the filter. Probably a defective fuel pump. I bought some $14 Kragen special, so I deserve it. Ah well, it's outta the garage, wife is happy and I am gonna take some time off from it. Probably 2 weeks before I even feel like looking at it.
