Thanks, TX.

I can't wait to fire this thing up for the first time today! I'm really anxious. Hopefully it doesn't sieze up after the first minute or two, hehe....and if it does, I guess I'll hafta go out and buy a new ZZ4 or one of the newer V8 Vortec engines to drop into it

Off to go work on this beast. Will report back later.

Re: Harmonic balancer questions

Please tell me you have a key in the keyway right. You can always heat the HB a little 250 degree oven 15 mins or on a cone bearing heater. If u heat it a little it expands. You also make sure u replace the seal. You can always heat the HB with a torch to take it off. Dont cook it just heat the outside not directly on the snout. It will expand. If you dont have a key in the keyway u are in for a world of trouble. No matter how tight you think it is it WILL spin on the crank. Take it off clean the key way and put in the right key. Dont hit the HB put a socket or something that size. Use a deadblow hammer that way you dont mushroom it. There are some really basic skills you need in doing a swap like this ou need to plan a little better and make sure what you got is gonna all work.

Good luck
