Question To Trans or not to Trans thats the ?

Transmission question from one turbohydramaticignoramoose. Can a turbo 350 rebuilt using B/M transpak survive behind a mildly built 454? She'll be basically touring around town and dragging my sorry butt to work once in a while, no towing or quartermile banzai trips...... Thanks in advance

IT would handle light to moderate driving and the occasional hard run. As long as you dont rat bag on it all the time it sshould be ok.

But then again maybe its just me

Had a buddy of mine that hammered a built 350 turbo behind a fairly stout 396 in a 69 Nova for 4 years on the drag strip. The car would run flat 12's all day and dip into the 11's on a cool night. Then again I've seen stock 350 engines take one out from abusing it. You takes your chances. If you build it right and treat it right it will live.
