My buddy's truck

Hi guys. I don't frequent this board very often but figured you guys would like a little eye candy. Sorry most of these photos are the size of a postage stamp I'm having a hard time with my camera. This truck belongs to a buddy of mine and is still under construction. It has a 350/350, camaro 10 bolt, mustang 11 front end, PS, PB, vintage air. It is a well put together good driving and riding truck. Just thought I would share the photos.

Thanks, Mike!
The photos came out fine. Looks like you're friend is well on the way to having a sweet ride. If he's got Internet access, try to talk him in to coming on the board.
I'd like to watch his progess and maybe pick his brain a little

I take it you've made it back to the States?

It is a nice truck. I took these photos while I was at home 3100, and am back at work overseas now. 2 weeks to go. The guy that owns it works offshore in the gulf but on his days off he works part time in a body shop with 65streetcruiser. He is a pretty good body man. He had painted it the color of the engine compartment and interior, except for the bed. He picked up all the parts to do the bed at the Pate swap meet one year and by the time he got back to it (he's been working on it for about 5 years) had a blister come up in the paint on one of the front fenders so he got flustered and sanded down the whole thing and primered it black. I think it looks great. If you look close at it he filled the seam in the hood, built his own drip rail as his were shot, he built his own custom dash, he used 54 bedsides cause he liked them better and built his own filler panel between the running board and bed because he didn't like the stock one. He also put the v-butt glass in it. I have been trying to get him on the board but he doesn't play around on the computer much. Maybe seeing it on here will inspire him to join. This thing scoots pretty good. He has a 350 with a set of rare second design offroad angle plug 202 camel humps (predecessor to the turbo head) a mild little cam and all the goodies. I think he is having a lot of fun driving it now and is not in too big of a hurry to finish it. That's what it's all about.
