Tranny crossmember question

My 68 was originally a 3 speed. Previous owner converted to a auto aka 400 turbo. My question is this: Can the tranny cross member be moved back and forth or is it welded it?

Thanks

They bolt in unless the PO welded it in. There are 2 set of predrilled holess for it to bolt to so it can go either foward or back.
