Battery hold down
OK, I paid the big bucks for a 'real' one, but don't quite see how it should work. Is my battery supposed to have a lip near the bottom, sticking out, for the clamp to ride on top of, or is the clamp just mashed into the side of the battery??
TIA |

Should be a lip all round the bottom of the battery for the clamp tp clamp to...Also make sure you don't have the clamp on upsidedown..

putting the clamp on upside down is a common mistake. So other people have told me, I'd never do anything so foolish. Not more than once, anyways.
