Custom Chassis with canti setup

Here are a couple of pictures of a 69 i'm currently working on. It's going to lay rocker with 22x10's and still run a/c. I also changed over the C10 spindles to work with the mustang ball joints so I can run 6 lug.

I wish I had more pictures to show right now. The rear is going to use a cantilever system which will change the lift ratio. This setup is going to be a 3 to 1. The lift at the shockwave will be tripled at the axle. This setup will have 12" once it's finished. The shockwave will be attached to the arms inside the frame. There's a shaft that goes through the frame and connects to another arm that will connect to the rear end. I'm not finished yet because I'm waiting on the correct shockwaves because they sent me ones that only had 3" of travel.

Yeah those are 22x10 and are coddington's, but i'm not sure what kind. I'm just using those to setup the suspension. I have a set of 22X10 viper 6 coddingtons that are going on it once it's finished.

How much lift will you have in the front? I have 10" of front lift. If I took my upper bump stops out or put thinner ones in I may get another 1" or so. They are limiting downward travel.

I like the idea of the rear cantilever. I'm going to try some bags with more stroke first.

You have 10" of lift with airbags in a stock-like (stock w/aftermarket arms) dual control arm setup? Are you sure about that figure?

I will only get 8" in the front due to the balljoins binding up.

I'm positive. I measured it last month. I have airlift bags on the front stock spindles and SoLo lower a-arms. I get only 7 1/2" in the rear with firstones. I'll take pictures soon. Sort of waiting on my new RH mirrior, and my diamond cut headlights, and clear parking lenses. When I get all my stuff installed I'll take full raise, and dumped pics, Side to side, front up rear down, rear up front down, all at 145 psi

you'll have the opposite problem I have, not the same lift front and rear. It bugs me. It wouldn't be bad if I had a programable electric leveling set-up of some kind. That way one button you could come full up, by setting your height to the lowest level be it front or rear.

And the Dakota Digital controller for existing systems, and the new Select-a-ride from Easy Street/Airlift.
I received three of them Friday at my shop and they are very well put together kits, I will be putting on on my truck this next week.

How much for the Easy Street/Airlift Select a ride? All the others are pretty spendy. But to tell you the truth I like the set-up on Chassis Techs Touch Screen Controller way more functions and doubles as a DVD screen.

I received one of the wheels yesterday for a test fit. For future reference for anyone running 22x10's you will need to run a 7" bs to clear the fenders if your bagged and bd. Here are some pictures.

I'll have to cut the whole side of the inner fender out. I have some ideas for new hood hinges that mount on the firewall. The wheels will clear the hood by a 1/4" when it's all the way down.
