taillight connectors for stepside
Did they change in 69/70? I believe they did and I need the taillight end pigtail right and left side where can I find them?
Why I need them: The long step on my 70 GMC came from a 67, I ordered a rear wiring harness for a 69-72 because I wanted the rear side marker lights and I noticed the connector on the 67 taillight has a different arrangement for the two connectors from the 69-72 harness.

I kept the drivetrain. Body/bad and chassis are gone. 1981 K30, 350/465/205 dana 60 and dually 14 bolt. Has a G80, and a flat bed. Going to replace the flat bed. 1985 K20, 350/400/208 10 bolt and SF 14 bolt. I wonder where I can find some 1 tons. Hmmmmm

Dumb question, but are you sure you got the stepside rear harness and not the fleet?

Ordered stepside and it has the connectors for the reverse lights. I'll check against the fleet bed I took off.

jim, I am pretty positive it was the harness for the stepside. It doesn't have a big dust boot over teh taillight end does it. I will check some of the taillights I have tomorrow.

No, I'm sure it's for a stepside. It's not like the harness on the two fleet beds.
