Question shipping a whole truck?

I am looking into buying a truck from a fellow board member and need advice on shipping. the problem is the truck is in Iowa with no motor and I am in Florida...anybody out there ever ship this type of truck (no motor) or any ideas where to look for shipping?

go pick up a copy of hemmings motor news and check out their service section--there will be a very large section devoted to auto transporters-find a few that operate in your region and call several to get info and quotes. good luck!

I've got the exact same problem - getting a truck w/ no motor from AZ to MN.

Check out this site:

http://www.ytmag.com/cgi-bin/haulquery.pl

put a post up and see what happens. I put my post up earlier and got 2 replies of guys that may be able to help me out.

Good luck!

Paul

That is a very useful site! Now I dont' suppose you know whether the board member in Seattle is still selling the '70 Custom Camper (the big ole thing)?
